Many Cultural events and performances are held in Berkeley, at Zellerbach hall, Wheeler auditorium, and Hearst theatre on the UC Campus, the Greek Theatre, or many halls and clubs downtown, and at the city centers.

Residential neighborhoods include the Berkeley hills with stunning views of the bay area, Thousand Oaks, Cragmont, Northbrae, Westbrae, Elmwood, Claremont, Tilden Park, and the Flatlands, each with it's unique look and feel.

There are many parks and walking paths in Berkeley. Tilden Regional Park borders the east hills offering hiking trails, Lake Anza, Merry-go Round, Steam Trains, petting zoo, and many other outdoor activities.
